Terms & Conditions of Service
OSO'S TOWING · Clearwater & St. Cloud, Minnesota · Effective: September 1, 2026
1. Authorization to Tow
By submitting a tow request through this website, by phone at +1 (320) 405-3961, or through any representative of OSO'S TOWING(“we”, “us”), you represent that you are the owner of the vehicle, the owner’s authorized agent, or otherwise lawfully entitled to authorize service on the vehicle. If you request service on a vehicle you do not own, you accept full responsibility for all charges and any claims arising from the service.
2. Dispatch & Arrival Estimates
We provide 24/7 dispatch. Any arrival time given by phone, text, or through this website is an estimate, not a guarantee. Weather, traffic, road conditions, and emergency call priority can affect arrival times. Unless a specific price was quoted and accepted before dispatch, final charges are determined by our published rates for the service actually performed, measured from our dispatch records.
3. Rates, Payment & Authority
Towing and roadside service rates are based on service type, distance, time of day, equipment required, and any winch-out or recovery labor. Payment is due at the time of vehicle release or service completion. We accept card, cash, check, Zelle, Venmo, and PayPal; returned payments are subject to a $35 returned-item fee. If you dispute a charge, contact us first at +1 (320) 405-3961 — we will review the dispatch record with you.
4. Storage, Impound & Vehicle Release
Vehicles stored at our yard accrue a daily storage fee beginning the first calendar day after arrival. Vehicles are released during posted pickup hours upon presentation of a valid government-issued photo ID and proof of ownership (registration, title, or notarized authorization), and payment of all towing, recovery, and storage charges. Vehicles left unclaimed are subject to lien and disposal proceedings under Minnesota Statutes Chapter 168B and, where applicable, Chapter 514; we will make reasonable attempts to notify the owner and lienholders of record before any such proceeding.
5. Personal Property & Cargo
Personal property inside a towed vehicle remains the responsibility of the vehicle owner. We are not responsible for cargo, loose items, or property left in the vehicle. Please remove valuables before release of the vehicle to us wherever circumstances safely allow.
6. Limitation of Liability
Towing and recovery involve inherent risks, particularly for vehicles that are damaged, modified, improperly parked, locked, or in unsafe locations. Our liability for any claim arising from services is limited to the amount charged for the specific service giving rise to the claim, except where Minnesota law provides otherwise. We are not liable for damage caused by prior accidents, existing mechanical failure, defective or aftermarket equipment, acts of nature, or instructions insisted upon by the customer against our operator’s advice.
7. Insurance & Accident Tows
For accident-related tows we can bill your insurer or the at-fault party’s insurer when a claim number and adjuster contact are provided at dispatch; otherwise, payment follows Section 3. A vehicle brought to our yard after an accident is stored pending direction from you or your insurer — daily storage continues while the vehicle remains.
8. Roadside Assistance Scope
Jump starts, tire changes, lockouts, and fuel/water delivery are best-effort services. If the vehicle cannot be safely started or moved, or if a tire, lock, or battery condition prevents safe service, the roadside call may convert to a tow at the applicable rate, with your approval before we proceed.
9. Cancellations
You may cancel a request at any time before our truck is en route at no charge. Once a truck is dispatched to your location, a minimum trip/drop fee applies, reflecting distance traveled.
10. Governing Law
