OSO'S TOWING · Clearwater & St. Cloud, Minnesota · Effective: September 1, 2026
1. Who We Are
OSO'S TOWING is a towing and roadside assistance company serving Clearwater, St. Cloud, and surrounding central Minnesota communities, available 24/7 at +1 (320) 405-3961. This policy explains what information we collect when you use this website or request service, and what we do with it. In short: we collect what we need to dispatch a truck to you and run our business — nothing more — and we never sell your information.
2. What We Collect
Tow requests submitted on this website: your name, phone number, and either a typed location description or your device’s GPS coordinates (latitude/longitude plus a maps link) if you explicitly allow location sharing in your browser. GPS is only captured when you tap “Use My Current Location” and check the consent box — we cannot obtain it otherwise.
Service records: when a request becomes a job we keep the vehicle location, service performed, notes you or our operators provide, and — if you pay by card — a payment confirmation reference. Full card numbers are processed by the payment processor and never stored on our systems.
Invoicing and email: if we email you an invoice, receipt, or one-time login code, your email address is kept with that record.
Website security logs: like most websites, our server keeps short-lived technical logs (request time, page, and generic rate-limiting counters) to defend against abuse. We do not use advertising trackers, analytics pixels, or third-party advertising cookies.
3. How We Use It
- Dispatching the nearest suitable truck to your location and calling you about the job.
- Billing, invoicing, receipts, and payment dispute resolution.
- Complying with Minnesota towing, lien, and record-keeping law (including Minn. Stat. Ch. 168B where applicable).
- Protecting the website and your account credentials from misuse.
4. Location Data — Explicit Consent
GPS coordinates you share are used only to find and reach your vehicle for the requested service. They are attached to that service record and are not used for any other purpose. Staff access to job locations is limited to dispatch and billing roles. You may withdraw consent at any time by clearing the location sharing in your browser and providing a street address instead — the service works identically with a typed location.
5. Sharing
We share your information only with: (a) our drivers and dispatch staff performing the service; (b) payment and email providers strictly to process your transaction or send documents you requested; and (c) authorities where required by law, court order, or in connection with abandoned-vehicle or lien procedures. We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information, ever.
6. Retention
Service and billing records are retained for the period required by Minnesota business and towing records law. Website tow requests that never convert to jobs are pruned on a routine schedule. GPS coordinates are deleted with the associated service record when its retention period ends.
7. Your Rights
You may ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by calling +1 (320) 405-3961 or emailing [email protected]. We will verify your identity and respond within a reasonable period. Note that we cannot delete records we are legally required to keep (for example, lien documentation on stored vehicles).
8. Security
This website is served over HTTPS, portal sessions are encrypted, staff accounts require strong passwords, and internal access follows least-privilege role permissions. No system is perfect — if we ever learn of a breach affecting your information, affected customers will be notified directly.
9. Children
Our services are directed to adults with vehicles. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
10. Contact
